Meeting Kurt Lehner
I met Kurt Lehner when I was a student at Don Mills Middle School in spring 2014. He came to visit my class so he could teach us to draw superheroes. I remember him being really fun and interesting to listen to and learn from. He was really nice. Kurt Lehner is an illustrator who promotes movies by making different art pieces such as Captain America:The winter Soldier and Avengers. After he left, he inspired me to go to different events that he was participating in like comic-con and fan expo.
How is this object or story important to you?

This story is important to me because Kurt Lehner encouraged me go to these events where I got to really connect to other people, since I don't really get to do that often.

What does it add to the story of Toronto?

Some cities have comicon but its rare to have a local artist that is that big in the comic industry.
