important to show the city's history includes history and people's dating back 10,000 years.
What does it add to the story of Toronto?
These people are still here . Their culture is still alive, and these pieces highlight the culture and vibrancy of this forgotten community.
How did you acquire it?
Found by archeological survey around the shores of lake scugog. They come from a variety of sources.
How old do you think it is?
The ceramics are maybe 500 years old, the ground-stone tools can date back 5 to 6 thousand years. The flaked tools can date back 10,000 yars.
