Sheep to Neckwear Vignette
The fibres all come from the same sheep, but different parts. You have to wash it to get the dirt out. This is a diorama of the process from raw fibre to spun yarn, from finished product to wearable product.
How is this object or story important to you?

I can make things for myself and to sell. It's also a very meditative process.

What does it add to the story of Toronto?

People need clothes and Toronto needs people to spin fabric for clothes. There were a lot of weaving collectives back in the day.

How old do you think it is?
